  • NEW BUILD ON MAREN COURT | THE ROE AT BADGERS ISLAND

    If there’s one word to define this project, it’s vision—and this new build on Maren Court reflects our ability to bring a California organic aesthetic to the Seacoast of New Hampshire.

    As part of The Roe, our four-home development on Badgers Island in Kittery, Maine, this 2,400 sq. ft. residence features three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. Our team led both the build and interior design, blending modern coastal ease with timeless New England architecture for a home that feels fresh, inviting, and enduring.

    At the heart of the home is the open-concept kitchen and living area. White oak beams draw the eye upward, while a generous island anchors the space—crafted for both everyday living and effortless entertaining. Natural textures such as limewash and soft neutral tones balance with organic finishes like plaster tile and warm brass details. The result is a kitchen and gathering space that embodies California’s relaxed coastal vibe while honoring the refinement of its New England setting.

    The primary suite carries this same sensibility, with serene, sun-filled interiors layered in soft paint and muted colors. The ensuite bathroom offers a spa-like retreat: a custom oak vanity, brass fixtures, a reeded soaking tub set beneath oversized windows, and a walk-in shower clad in earthy zellige vertical tile. Additional bedrooms and bathrooms continue the palette of calm, with details like a deep limewash in the powder room and natural stone tile in the guest bath, each space distinct yet unified by an organic, coastal thread.

    The Maren Court residence is more than just a new build—it’s an elevated lifestyle experience, merging the sun-warmed, organic elegance of California living with the charm and timelessness of New England’s seacoast.
